Advent

In the traditional church calendar, ‘Advent’ is the season leading up to Christmas. The name comes from a Latin word (adventus) meaning ‘arrival’, or ‘coming’. Choosing to mark this season can be a great way for us to reflect on Christ’s arrival among us at the first Christmas, and to look forward to his second coming as judge and saviour. Here are some resources that you may find helpful.
